The Predictive Maintenance Notification Pattern is part of the maintenance, repair and upgrade stage of the customer experience.
On the home screen of his smartphone the customer receives a message from the digital twin of his product, inviting him to do some maintenance.
On the next screen, he sees his product and the value drop from its original value to its current value range. This should create some sense of urgency. Th customer can do the maintenance immediately or schedule it in his calendar.
If he decides to do it right away, he can browse the components of his product that need regular maintenance. He can see special offers by local shops for maintenance and how much value their services would add to his product.
He also can decide to do the maintenance himself. Please look up the Maintenance Self Service Pattern in this section of the library to learn how self service can be supported.
