The „Reduce Returns“ patterns are part of the purchase stage of the customer experience.
The Checklist Pattern is the most modest version of these patterns. It informs the customer about the disadvantages of returns for him and the environment and also provides some background data to back that up.
Below this information there is a checklist of the main reasons for returning this specific product. If for example the customer is not sure wether the product fits with his existing hardware, he can proceed to check compatibility.
